The short version
- What you write and say in Solacse belongs to you.
- We store only what's needed to make the product work — your account, your conversations, your mood timeline.
- We never sell your data. We don't use your chats to train third-party models.
- You can delete your account and your data at any time from settings.
What we collect
Account: email and authentication details so you can sign in.
Conversations: the messages you send and the responses Solacse gives, so your timeline persists across sessions.
Mood signals: lightweight aggregates (e.g. emotion counts) computed from your messages, used only to render your dashboard.
Privacy mode: uploaded files and extracted text in privacy mode stay on your device and are never written to our database.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use your private conversations to train AI models.
- We do not share your messages with researchers, partners, or anyone else.
Chat log retention & legal discoverability
By default, Solacse saves your chat history so your conversations persist across sessions and so features like your mood timeline can work. That means your messages are retained on our servers until you delete them or delete your account.
Please be aware: like other companion and messaging platforms, saved interaction data can become discoverable in civil legal proceedings — for example, family law, custody, divorce, or personal injury disputes — if a court issues a valid subpoena or discovery order. We will always push back on overbroad requests, but we cannot promise that a court order will not compel disclosure of your saved chats.
If you plan to share something deeply personal that you would not want surfaced in a future legal matter, you have options: use privacy mode (uploads and extracted text never touch our servers), delete individual threads after a session, or delete your account to remove all messages tied to your user id.
Solacse is a technology platform facilitating connections — not a medical clinic, therapist, or law firm — so conversations here are not protected by doctor–patient, therapist–client, or attorney–client privilege.
Your rights
You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email us through the help link in the footer, or use the in-app settings page.
